Vista Alegre Caravela, a celebration of Portuguese Heritage

The Caravela collection celebrates the spirit of Portuguese maritime heritage, more precisely the time of exploration in the 15th century. Inspired by the wonder and harshness of these adventures, Caravela reflects elements such as the curved lines of ship hulls, the jagged profile reminiscent of the steep rocks of cliffs, and shapes that evoke both ship sails and ocean waves. Handcrafted by Vista Alegre, these sculptural pieces with a white biscuit surface contrasting with the glazed interior (and, in the case of the bookends, with the gray marble bases) bring a bit of Portuguese nautical heritage to contemporary decor, uniting history and modern design.
